HANDMADE MOROCCAN KILIM BELT
While exploring the magical souks of Morocco, I came across some beautiful vintage Kilim rugs, and instantly I knew i wanted to turn them into something special! Kilim wool is a strong dyed wool traditionally used in Moroccan carpets and rugs which are all handwoven by master craftsmen.
With the help of a Moroccan tailor, who specialises in up-cycling these beautiful rugs, we were able to bring my designs to life!
Inspired by the existing bags in Morocco, I wanted to create something a little bit different. These versatile and handcrafted belts have been made through stitching the rugs onto beautiful leather belts.
Because of the handmade nature of the belts, and the materials used, NO TWO ARE THE SAME!
We only have one available in each fabric, meaning when you purchase from us, you really are buying something totally unique, charming and with a magical history and story to it!
