Mala beads are a string of beads traditionally used in prayer and meditation. They are also a beautiful reminder of our intentions. Malas can be made from gemstones that match the intention of your practice, and often malas are placed in shrines as a reminder of affirmations.
Traditionally malas are used as counting tools in meditation, there are 108 beads on them as 108 has long been considered a sacred number in Hinduism and yoga.
Malas - garlands of prayer beads, come as a string of 108 beads, plus one for the "guru bead," around which the other 108 beads turn like the planets around the sun.
Our Mala necklaces are all handmade using genuine gemstone crystals, thick, durable macrame thread and beautiful flowing handmade silk tassels.
We decorate our mala necklaces with symbols of sacred geometry, powerful symbols that represent the unity and energy of life that are great aids for meditation and manifestation.
We use only high quality stones and make ONLY ONE of each design making each piece as unique as you and your needs are.
